Ang taste preference ni baby ay maaaring ma-influence habang nasa early stage pa ng pregnancy. For example, ang aroma ng mga pagkain tulad ng garlic, curry, anise, banana and vanilla ay maaring mag-cross mula sa placenta, papunta sa amniotic fluid na pumapalibot sa fetus during pregnancy. Ibig sabihin, maaga pa lang ay nae-expose na si baby sa iba’t ibang flavors kahit hindi pa siya ipinapanganak!
