KITCHEN AND DINING AREA

  • Make sure your little one cannot pry open low-lying cabinets.
  • Keep cleaning supplies out of his reach.
  • Put kitchen utensils at the farthest end, away from baby’s sight and reach.
  • Remove knobs and turn away cooking pot handles in case he tries to grasp them.
  • Use safety covers on electrical outlets in your house.

  • Keep curtains and cords of blinds away from your toddler’s reach.
  • Put a safety gate in doorways and places where he is not allowed to roam freely.
  • Stick corner guards at the sharp corners of furniture.
  • Keep away all small decors, and potted plants away from baby’s reach.

BATHROOM

  • Use a safety toilet latch on the seat so your curious chikiting cannot play with the toilet.
  • Secure door locks with masking tape so that your toddler cannot lock himself from the inside.
  • Put spout guard on faucet to protect his head from hitting it when taking a bath.
  • Lock inside cabinet all medicines and items you do not want him to get hold of.

BEDROOM

  • Lock cabinet drawers so that baby cannot use them to climb up your tocador or dressing table.
  • Do not give small toys that he can easily put inside his nose and ears or in his mouth to choke on.
  • Tuck away and hide all appliance cables and chargers at the back, away from baby’s reach.

STAIRWAY

  • Block the way to the stairs, both the top and bottom, to avoid slips and falls.
